About the Author: Dominic Colvert is a writer and former flight engineer. Originally from London, England, Colvert served with the Irish Air Corps before becoming a flight engineer for the British Overseas Airway Corporation during the first days of jetliners. He earned an MS in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, which led him to work as an engineer for many different companies. He was born and married in London, England and lived in Dublin, Ireland while serving in the air force. Dominic now lives in Palo Alto, California, where he continues to write.
