NEW YORK—July 17, 2018—Morgan James’s new release, Gallery Ready: A Creative Blueprint for Visual Artists by Franceska Alexander, teaches emerging artists how to make their art stand out from the crowd, and how to make it sell in a gallery.

The idea of the starving artist exists for a reason. It can be very difficult to make a living out of making art if one does not know how to market themselves or where to begin. Having grown up in a family of artists, Franceska Alexander recognized this struggle, and became passionate about helping new artists get started in their career. Using her experience as gallery owner and an art gallery coach, Alexander has compiled her tips and insights into Gallery Ready, a guidebook for artists to get their start in the professional art-selling world.

Gallery Ready: A Creative Blueprint for Visual Artists helps artists uncover what it takes to get their art into a respected gallery. Alexander offers pointers on how to prepare for meetings with gallery owners, how to entice art collectors, and how to scale art to the next level. She also addresses how the art buying and collecting market has adapted with advances in technology, and explores how artists can use virtual tools and networking to broaden their reach to galleries and grow their audience.

Creating art takes talent and passion, but selling art takes business knowledge, marketing savvy, and professional mastery. Franceska Alexander understands the market, and provides talented new artists all the tools and intel they need to turn their passion into a living. Gallery Ready: A Creative Blueprint for Visual Artists is a practical, valuable tool for any artist looking to gain exposure and further their career.
