NEW YORK—Dec. 14, 2021—Morgan James’ new release, Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare: Evolution of a Revolution, by Kay Kennedy, Lucy Leclerc, and Susan Campis, is a healthcare leader’s guide to changing culture by embracing that change may start with a leader, but it is not about them.
Based on the theory of complex systems, Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare is a new leadership model addressing the requirement for healthcare organizations to develop environments that produce market-leading outcomes for patients. Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare provides a practical guide to accomplish culture change through the development of leaders and teaches practices to decrease the incidence of burnout in healthcare workers.
By facilitating discussion among leadership teams with guided questions and suggestions for reflection, Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare teaches leaders in healthcare to start with themselves by embracing self-care and mindfulness practices for the betterment of their staff and patients.
