NEW YORK—December 15, 2020— Morgan James’ new release, The Solomon Syndrome: A Blueprint for a More Meaningful and Happy Life by Dr. Bob Beltz, is an entertaining read about the serious issues of life. Rather than writing a book specifically about marriage, family, or a relationship with God, Beltz writes about all relationships, explaining how they are designed to work together to create the life God intended for people to live.
Dr. Bob Beltz identifies the futile ways that both men and women seek to have a happy life as they chase cultural ideals of success and peace. The Solomon Syndrome is written in two parts; part one is used as a tool to assess how individuals seek to have their needs met (often in ways that never work), and part two takes each of the relationships discussed in part one and provides instructions to adjust and enhance each one.
In The Solomon Syndrome, Dr. Bob Beltz uses King Solomon as a model, explaining that the pathways offered by modern society will only bring men and women onto the “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.” Beltz hopes to guide individuals away from the belief that an ideal romantic partner will meets all of their needs. Instead, he counsels men and women, emphasizing that no person will be perfect and should not be expected to be. He then lays out a paradigm of how God designed a network of relationships to meet one’s deepest needs and will help make life meaningful and happy. The Solomon Syndrome clarifies how to meet the desires of the heart, improve one’s love life, and understand why they feel the way they do about themselves.
