NEW YORK–March 17, 2015–Morgan James Publishing’s (www.Morgan-James.com) new release, Christine’s Kilimanjaro: My Suburban Climb Up the Mountain of Life by Christine M. Malone, provides readers with a memoir that will keep them chuckling, wincing, and crying, right along with her.

A modern housewife and mother in suburban America, Malone lived every day following her normal routine: working, taking care of her family, and occasionally enjoying a night out with her friends. Malone was content to stay in her typical lifestyle, until one afternoon when she happened across an old Oprah episode. Inspired by the two interviewees—teenaged girls who pursued their dreams until they haMaloneppened—it was on that day that Malone’s dreams would begin to change her life forever. Beyond hugging Ellen DeGeneres and sharing birthday cake with Will Ferrell, Malone vowed to create a book. As she reflected on her life, both past experiences and the present moments, Christine’s Kilimanjaro emerged.

Malone provides the specific details and the right touch of emotion that makes readers feel like they are
experiencing each situation with her.
Christine’s Kilimanjaro is like getting coffee with your best friend and giggling and freaking out together as she fills you in on what has happened over the past few weeks or recounts a particularly poignant childhood memory. Malone is not afraid of vulnerability; she embraces it, making Christine’s Kilimanjaro an irresistible read.

Whether Christine is going to the grocery store, working at the doctor’s office, going to lunch with her daughter or reminiscing her days in New York City, each chapter of Christine’s Kilimanjaro reveals a new twist to her personality and provides a new her perspective on her life and the American lifestyle. It is a moving and poignant path of self-discovery that many will identify with and envision for themselves.

A real page-turning memoir, Christine’s Kilimanjaro draws readers in, allowing them to easily identify with Malone’s life. Whether they’re teenaged girls realizing that their moms were once (and maybe still are) “cool,” or career-driven women who often feel bogged-down by life’s details, readers will laugh and learn as they climb Christine’s mountain with her.

Foreword by: Jay Conrad Levinson  “The Father of Guerrilla Marketing”

“Christine’s writing style has a free flow of consciousness akin to that of Dave Eggers in A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, but then again it’s really more like a collision of Erma Bombeck meets Bridget Jones Diary meets Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, Christine’s writing style is so unique, and she is a wonderful story teller.” – Jay Conrad Levinson.
