NEW YORK— October 20, 2020—Morgan James’ new release, The Legend of SeaWalker: A Novel, by Wyland, is an engaging and action-packed novel from the first page to the last. The Legend of SeaWalker tells a story that brings ocean creatures and humans together with a magical adventure, one that will capture the imagination of young and old fans of fantasy alike.
Aimed at middle grade and young adult readers, The Legend of SeaWalker depicts the imaginative world of SeaWalker, an infant who is lost at sea before he is rescued and raised by a family of dolphins. SeaWalker travels to the deepest part of the ocean where he metamorphizes into a new species of sea creature and learns how to communicate telepathically with all the creatures of the sea, from the largest blue whales to the smallest crustaceans. Born to bridge the two worlds above and below the ocean, SeaWalker’s epic journey not only takes him to the deepest depths of the sea, but leads him face an enemy that threatens all life on earth.
The Legend of Seawalker is the first book in Wyland’s Seawalker series, inspired by his many diving adventures throughout the world. It contains original illustrations from Wyland, whose first book, The Art of Wyland, sold over 1.4 million copies worldwide. Wyland is considered one of the most successful artists in history, with over 1 million collectors of his work in the United States alone. He hopes that The Legend of Seawalker will delight and entertain fantasy readers while it brings the survival of marine wildlife and the ocean as necessary to humankind’s existence.
