NEW YORK— April 20, 2021—Morgan James’ new release, All We Need Is A Pair of Pliers: A Divine Appointment by Mark Richard and June Gaston, tells an incredible story of how God used a rebellious young man’s life to change the world for many, one person at a time. Mark’s life is a testimony as to how God can use anyone who is willing to be obedient to His call, in order to bring blessings to many.

Mark Richard grew up with little parental supervision after his parents divorced in his early teens. With undiagnosed learning disabilities, he struggled in school, which led to a life of rebellion and drugs within the hippie culture. However, his unstable family life prompted him to always seek “more” in life.  Miraculously, God got his attention and saved him.  With God’s guidance and Mark’s reckless faith, he started a ministry by delivering a trailer of donated wheelchairs to Guatemala in 1988. This first trip led to many, eventually culminating in the development of The Beeline, a line of wheelchairs uniquely developed for unserved people with disabilities in developing countries.  Throughout his life, God provided the means, opportunities, and people Mark needed to fulfill his calling.  His obedience resulted in a ministry which meets the assistive technology needs of many who otherwise would not have been served.

All We Need Is A Pair of Pliers tells this story of how one man, burdened with a turbulent childhood and significant learning disabilities, changed thousands of lives. With God as his guide, Mark’s life testifies to how his obedience made life-changing impacts for so many. This amazing tale reminds all of us that God can use unfavorable circumstances, and anyone who is willing, for His will and glory.
