NEW YORK—April 13, 2021—Morgan James’ new release, $4.83: The Cost to Impact the Life of a Child for a Year… Maybe Forever by Lance Wood and Jenn Tarbell, discusses the proven impacts of Christ-centered microfinance and how the lives of children can be improved with just $4.83.

Finances can be one of the biggest struggles for a family, but $4.83 shows parents why “Jesus and a Job” is what every person needs and makes a case for why parents getting a job helps kids win.  By combining data with real-life stories of families who have pulled themselves out of poverty, $4.83 provides evidence that when parents are given opportunities, the lives of their children are enhanced.

$4.83 outlines on ten areas in which kids win through Christ-centered microfinance: valuing work, thriving families, sufficient clothing, spiritual growth, improved housing, adequate healthcare, sufficient food, basic education, freedom from trafficking, and post-disaster rebuilding. A compelling read that will encourage Christian parents and philanthropists to live for eternity, not just today, $4.83 is a necessary reminder that changing a child’s life can cost less than $5.
