NEW YORK— December 22, 2020—Morgan James’ new release, Mind Over Bladder: A Step-by-Step Guide to Achieving Continence, by Jill Maura Rabin, M.D. and Gail Stein with Danielle L. O’Shaughnessy, M.D., is a trusted and informative guidebook for bladder control. Written by a nationally known urogynecologist, Mind Over Bladder is an informative resource for the 21st century woman that addresses incontinence with respect and humor.
Urinary incontinence is a health issue that plagues millions worldwide; it affects vastly more women than men. According to Jill Maura Rabin, M.D., Gail Stein, and Danielle O’Shaughnessy, M.D., there are many reasons why female biology is more susceptible to urinary incontinence, including childbirth and menopause, as well as basic anatomical differences. Rabin, Stein, and O’Shaughnessy understand how incontinence can limit a woman’s freedom and ability to live a full and active life, and they wrote Mind Over Bladder to provide a reliable, updated resource on the subject.
Mind Over Bladder asks and answers the questions of “What is incontinence?” and “What can I do about it?” Rabin, Stein, and O’Shaughnessy’s unique approach addresses basic bladder and pelvic anatomy, while discussing the steps to receive a diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan. Jill Maura Rabin, M.D., Gail Stein, and Danielle O’Shaughnessy, M.D., break down the more complex details of bladder control, putting them into a clear and easy to read format for women of every age. They hope to arm women with information and practical solutions to help lead better, drier, and happier lives.
