Lamb believes that a better understanding of economics will lead people to make better fiscal decisions, thus leading to a healthier national and global trade market as well as more satisfied, stable individuals. He pulls back the curtain from the financial world and provides an easy-to-understand guide to economics in Economics is Like Sex.
Lamb teaches readers the basics of economics, covering a wide range of topics including the stock market, trade policy, investments, minimum wage, and even retirement planning. On a personal scale, he explains how good economic policy can affect an individual’s family, future, and overall happiness. Furthermore, on a larger scale he explores topics such as why the government struggles with so much debt and how limited government could be more beneficial for the economy. Throughout the practical lessons, Lamb also shares exciting, real-life stories from his own experience in the business world that will keep readers engaged and entertained. Through simple explanations and candid conversation, Economics is Like Sex eliminates the mystery from economics and equips readers with the knowledge they need to live a fulfilled, financially thriving life.
